During the pre-operative assessment various diagnostic devices help your surgeon
determine if your cornea is fit for laser treatment. These tests help guide the choice of the most appropriate treatment profile, e.g. “Wavefront-Optimized” or “Topo-Guided Contoura Vision”, as well as the ideal method for you.
It is important not to wear soft contact lenses for 7 days prior to the assessment.
Allow between 90 and 120 minutes for this comprehensive assessment with fundus examination (via pupil dilation) and be aware that you will not be able to drive for a few hours following the consultation.
Following the assessment, the results are discussed with you and an appointment for the laser procedure can be scheduled.
