Even if you are not (yet) a good candidate at the moment, you could be in the future.<\/p>\n<p>During the preoperative assessment, various diagnostic tools will help your surgeon determine whether your cornea is suitable for laser treatment. The results of this preliminary examination are used to select the most suitable treatment profile and the ideal treatment method, e.g. a &#8220;wavefront-optimised&#8221; or a (topography-guided) &#8220;Contoura Vision&#8221; laser eye treatment.<\/p>\n<p>It is important that you do not wear soft contact lenses for at least 7 days before this examination.<\/p>\n<p>Allow 90 to 120 minutes for this comprehensive preliminary examination including dilatation of the pupil and remember that you will not be able to drive independently for a few hours after the examination.<\/p>\n<p>Following this preliminary examination, the results will be discussed with you and, if desired, an appointment can be made for the laser procedure.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<div  class='avia-video
