It can correct short-sightedness, long-sightedness and astigmatism.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since its introduction in 1991, more than 30 million people have benefited from this technique, making LASIK <strong>the most commonly performed elective surgical procedure in the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The principle of LASIK is to reshape the cornea so that light entering the eye can be refocused on the retina to improve vision.<br \/>\n<strong>Femto-LASIK<\/strong> is considered a &#8220;blade-free&#8221; eye laser method.
