style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pterygium is a benign lesion of the conjunctiva, most often located in the inner corner of the eye. Sometimes symptoms of dry eye can occur, such as a foreign body sensation or redness in the corner of the eye. The pterygium only becomes truly symptomatic when it reaches the center of the cornea, disturbing the visual axis.
