Bei dieser klassischen Operationsmethode wird die eingetr\u00fcbte Hornhaut vollst\u00e4ndig entfernt und komplett durch ein Hornhaut-Transplantat ersetzt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"color: #004b70;\">In den letzten Jahren ist ein neues<\/strong>, viel schonenderes Operationsverfahren in den Vordergrund getreten: die lamell\u00e4re Keratoplastik. Bei diesem Transplantationsverfahren werden nur die erkrankten Hornhautschichten ersetzt, w\u00e4hrend das gesunde Gewebe erhalten bleibt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"color: #004b70;\">Die Descemet-Membran-Endothel-Keratoplastik (DMEK)<\/strong> ist eine innovative Methode zur Behandlung endothelialer Erkrankungen der Hornhaut. Nur die innerste erkrankte Hornhautschicht, <strong>die den Wasserhaushalt der Hornhaut nicht mehr ausreichend regulieren kann<\/strong>, wird entfernt und durch ein 15 \u00b5m dickes Transplantat ersetzt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"color: #004b70;\">Die wichtigsten Vorteile der DMEK<\/strong> sind eine wesentlich k\u00fcrzere Heilungszeit, eine nahezu normale postoperative Sehsch\u00e4rfe und eine deutlich geringere Absto\u00dfungsrate.<br \/>\nIm Vergleich zu anderen Transplantationsverfahren ist die DMEK technisch anspruchsvoller. <strong>Das Verfahren
