Mit ihr k\u00f6nnen Kurzsichtigkeit, Weitsichtigkeit und Astigmatismus korrigiert werden.<\/p>\n<p>Bei einer PKR wird die d\u00fcnne Oberfl\u00e4chenschicht der Hornhaut (das Epithel) abgetragen. Anschlie\u00dfend wird das Hornhautgewebe direkt an der Oberfl\u00e4che mit dem Excimer-Laser modelliert. Das Centre Ophtalmologique Place de Paris ist stolz darauf, das erste Zentrum in Luxemburg zu sein, das Ihnen &#8222;StreamLight&#8220; anbieten kann, eine neue transepitheliale PKR-Technik, die den Excimer-Laser zur Entfernung des Epithels nutzt.<\/p>\n<p>Es ist also derselbe Excimer-Laser, der das Epithel verdampft und die Hornhautoberfl\u00e4che resculptiert, um den Sehfehler zu korrigieren. Im Gegensatz zu einer &#8222;klassischen&#8220; PRK gibt es w\u00e4hrend des Verfahrens keinen Kontakt mit dem zu behandelnden Auge.<\/p>\n<p>Die transepitheliale PKR kann Patienten mit d\u00fcnner Hornhaut oder Kampfsportlern angeboten werden, die nicht f\u00fcr eine LASIK in Frage kommen.
