Sehkraft mittels Laser.\u00a0Mit ihr k\u00f6nnen Kurzsichtigkeit, Weitsichtigkeit und Astigmatismus korrigiert werden.<br \/>\nSeit ihrer Einf\u00fchrung im Jahr 1991 haben mehr als 30 Millionen Menschen von dieser Technik profitiert, was die LASIK zum weltweit am h\u00e4ufigsten durchgef\u00fchrten elektiven chirurgischen Eingriff macht.<br \/>\nDas Prinzip der LASIK besteht darin, die Hornhaut so zu formen, dass das in das Auge einfallende Licht wieder auf die Netzhaut fokussiert werden kann, um das Sehverm\u00f6gen zu verbessern.<br \/>\nDie Femto-LASIK gilt als eine &#8222;klingenlose&#8220; Augenlasermethode. Dieser Schritt dauert etwa 6 Sekunden.<br \/>\nDer zweite Schritt ist die Anwendung des EX500 Excimer-Lasers zur Behandlung des Refraktionsfehlers. Die Korrektur einer Dioptrie durch den EX500 wird in 1,4 Sekunden durchgef\u00fchrt. So dauert die Korrektur einer Myopie von 5 Dioptrien nur 7 Sekunden.<br \/>\nAnschlie\u00dfend wird der Flap wieder zur\u00fcckgeklappt und haftet dank innerer Bindekr\u00e4fte von selbst.<br \/>\nBei Kontraindikationen k\u00f6nnen andere Verfahren wie die transepitheliale PKR (StreamLight) oder Intraokularlinsen in Betracht gezogen werden.
